Tralee, Ireland: AEGEAN has selected Continuum Commerce Solutions to provide a Multi-Currency Pricing (MCP) service to enhance the booking process for its customers. The service will enable customers to make payments in their preferred currency, thus providing greater price certainty at the point of purchase and a better overall booking experience.
The integration of Multi-Currency Pricing will allow AEGEAN’s customers to choose their payment currency during the booking process on the airline’s website. The technology is compatible with all card and non-card payment methods, offering more flexibility during the buying process and offering customers the comfort of paying in their preferred currency.
“By deploying Multi-Currency Pricing, we hope to improve the customer’s experience on our web channel by giving them the convenience to pay in their own currency. This solution gives our customer a choice to select the most cost-effective way for them to make a payment,” said Michalis Kouveliotis, CFO of AEGEAN.
Continuum Commerce already works with more than 20 airlines globally to provide multi-currency pricing solutions. AEGEAN chose Continuum for its strong footprint and proven track record in the airline space, as well as providing a platform that is customisable to AEGEAN’s needs.
