Continuum and Cebu Pacific Air

02 July 2008

Continuum Commerce today announced the launch of its new Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) solution for Cebu Pacific Air.

Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) is a low-fares airline based in the Philippines. Cebu pioneered the “low fare, great value” strategy in the local aviation industry and is now the country's leading domestic carrier, servicing the most domestic destinations with the largest number flights and routes. Cebu Pacific flies to more than 24 domestic destinations, and to more than 16 international destinations.

CEB operates a fleet of 18 Airbus (10 A319 and 8 A320) and 2 ATR 72-500 aircraft, the youngest fleet in the Philippines with an average fleet age of less than 2 years.

Cebu Pacific’s Director of E-Commerce Liezel Tagle said:
'Working with the Continuum team was quick and easy. Now, using the Continuum DCC application our passengers can choose convenient payment in their own currency when they book online. This is one more aspect of our commitment to great passenger service at low fares.'

Continuum Commercial Director Martin Smith said:
'We are proud to work with the Philippines' fastest growing carrier. Cebu's success has been driven by their commitment to low fares and great service - we are delighted to help in making a great service even better.'
