Continuum wins global MasterCard contract

01 October 2007

Following many months of close co-operation Continuum has been appointed as the world’s first and only global reseller of the MasterCard MIGS service with exclusivity in Europe and the Americas. MIGS is a complete payment solution for Merchants and Acquiring Banks requiring a secure and more efficient way to process payments from customers across all acceptance channels for global credit cards and charge cards.

Commenting on the deal, Continuum’s CEO Eamonn O’Shea commented: “This marks an important milestone in the launch of Continuum as a global payment provider. Now merchants can make significant savings in the cost of processing their credit card transactions as well as availing of sizeable new revenue accruing from the deployment of Continuum’s DCC services.”

Collectively Continuum and MIGS are servicing close to 30 airlines and are looking to replicate the same level of success in other industry sectors.”
